INTERNATIONAL WORKERS' MEMORIAL DAY

April 28/May Day - Japan

RENGO (Japan) will host its 28 April activity in connection to the 2004 May Day rallies that are scheduled for 29 April this year. On that occasion, a special booth will be set up at the site of the Central Rally in Tokyo, calling for SAFE AND HEALTHY WORK FOR ALL in conjunction with the International Commemoration Day, highligting that it is marked by workers from throughout the world. 28 April posters from abroad will be displayed to show our world-wide solidarity for 28 April.

Rengo has appealed for to trade union affiliates and
Global Union Federations to send them any 28 April posters or any otherinformation from other countries that could used for their display. Please also notify the
following person if you are in a position to send any of the requested materials:
