And that means new opportunities and, potentially, new risks, the <a href=\"http:\/\/osha.europa.eu\/en\/blog\/would-you-like-to-contribute-to-future-health-and-safety-in-2018green-jobs2019\">European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA)<\/a> says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNew work situations bring new risks and challenges for workers and employers, which in turn demand political, administrative, technical and regulatory approaches to ensure high levels of safety and health at work,\u201d the Bilbao-based organisation reports.<\/p>\n<p>In response, its <a href=\"http:\/\/osha.europa.eu\/en\/riskobservatory\">European Risk Observatory (ERO)<\/a> \u201chas commissioned a foresight study to explore the potential impact that key technological innovations may have on workers\u2019 health and safety, both positively and negatively, in jobs in the green economy (\u2018green jobs\u2019) and what new and emerging risks to occupational safety and health (OSH) this may bring by 2020.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Agency says it wants contributions from \u201cpeople involved in the implementation of the greening policy agenda, as well as from any other areas where key drivers of change may impact the introduction of new technologies in green jobs and create new occupational safety and health risks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is inviting anyone interested in contributing to complete an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hsl.gov.uk\/surveys\/greenjobs\/greenjobs.htm\">online questionnaire<\/a> \u2013 which shouldn\u2019t take more than 30 minutes.
