The major construction firms that bankrolled the covert blacklisting operation on trade unionists would escape prosecution. And The Consulting Association had been operating in one guise or another for decades before Kerr faced the courts.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hazards.org\/victimisation\">Hazards magazine\u2019s<\/a> \u2018blacklist blog\u2019 is tracking developments on the story \u2013 it\u2019s a health and safety story because union health and safety activity or even concern appears to be a fast track to blacklisting, with union safety rep credentials a regular feature in blacklist dossiers.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<em>Hazards<\/em> is also concerned that other seemingly legitimate outfits \u2013 management consultants and law firms, for example \u2013 may be providing blacklisting advice as part of \u201cunion avoidance\u201d services.
