While ever consumers have the mindset that fruit and vegetables must be free of blemishes like insect stings etc farmers must use pesticides. It is really scarey to see what we’re doing to this planet. I’ve read figures that claim over 12 MILLION tonnes of toxic chemicals are put into the ocean each year through international shipping.

I like this article. I think this article can warn pregnant women to really be careful with chemicals, like pesticides. As a husband, I am very grateful for this article because I can better protect my wife if she is pregnant.

Pregnancy can be the most beautiful time in a women’s life if all things go well, but it can be a living nightmare if things go badly. Even before getting pregnant a women should get as much information to help them as possible. I know that pregnancies are not always planned, but being forewarned is being fore-armed. Pregnancy can be a dangerous time for both the mother and the unborn child. But if the women takes care of herself she will enjoy her pregnancy and be overjoyed with a beautiful baby. Always seek medical advice and get regular health checks during your pregnancy. But as always, prevention is better than cure.

harmful pesticides are also used in rivers by fishermen to cash fish in Africa,that,dangerous practice should be reprimended by all means

Although it is essential to warn pregnant women about exposures, that may be too late as many toxic substances (e.g. if they are lipophilic) can be stored in her body and released during pregnancy. Need to know more about potential effects on sperm of dads.
