Workcover legislation through out the country makes the employer responsible for workplace what is different here?? Nothing, the employers are responsible for putting untrained people into confined spaces without any recognized training as well as the effects of dehydration and its outcomes. Had the states adopted adopted the progressive ACT workplace legislation which was overridden by the Howard Government at least three employers involved with the insulation would be facing charges that could have lead to custodial sentences
