As one who had to leave the Industry because of the ‘Blacklist’ I fully endorse the comments of John McDonnell MP and, of course, it is not the official TU movement that is leadng the camaign for its eradication, it is the blacklisted workers themselves. When I became a victim of the ‘Blacklist’, back in the 1960′s, the TU hierarchy, of the Union to which I belonged, was actively collaborating with the employers to have me permanently removed from the Industry and I was paying them for the privelege!!! I don’t know how far back the ‘Consulting Association’ database goes, it is possible that the ‘Economic League, & ‘Aims of Industry’ passed on their files to them, if so, I would feature on them. How does one cme by ‘The List’ ??? Again, “Power to your elbow” for the great work all of you are doing to end this pernicious practice.

Fraternal greetings to all those attending the ‘Blacklist Support Group’ AGM on October 29th. Don’t expect much progress will be made until the Troika of Condems/Police/ Media is well and truly dismantled. Cracks have begun to show but am betting that they will close ranks for their own preservation, as they have always done.

after recently being dropped by our union solicitors after various attempts at tribunals over blacklisting myself and two colleagues now find ourselves unrepresented in the fight for justice we would like any possible advice or guidance you may be able to offer or maybe point us in the right direction any possible help would be gratefully accepted all our thanks and best of luck in your own fight against these tyrants.

Well done Dave Smith.
About time someone took these big companies bully boys on..
If they blacklist union people what about none union people have they done this to them aswell.
The next thing I would like to see these companies taken to the European Courts so we the workers can show them no one is above the law wether uk or European.

Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement.

It’s inevitable that many workers in other industries who have stood up for safety, have had their names added to some kind of blacklist as well. The only difference with us is that we have the documentary evidence to prove it.

Keep up the struggle for better workers health & safety. Remember: we are the good guys in all this.

Well done Dave for exposing these deceitful people. You have shown great courage & perseverance. The Govt should stop giving contracts to such companies that break our employment laws. They want to break trade unions & activists and have a cheap & cowed workforce who accept any conditions no matter how bad. You’re an example to us all!

Well done Dave Smith and the Blacklisting Team, round one to you boys ,well done.
Carillion have shown scant regard for the Employment Laws of this country,as they did with the BID RIGGING. We now need to get to grip with the like of Carillion.BB and others whom, are currently driving a bus thru the FOI Act 2000,especially on PFi/PPP
